As part of the agreement, Pacnet will provide CDP Group with a flexible and scalable Internet service to support its growing BPO operations which demands both robust domestic and international Internet connectivity. This will enable CDP Group to focus on growing and strengthening its position in the BPO market, while leaving its connectivity needs to Pacnet.

"While China’s economy continues to grow albeit at a slower pace, the dynamics of the current economy has created a growing demand for outsourcing services as companies are forced to increase business efficiency and yet reduce costs,” said Bill Barney, Chief Executive Officer of Pacnet. “We believe that more businesses in China will realize the benefits of BPO especially in the areas of human resource and accounting, and Pacnet is able to provide the robust network infrastructure that is rapidly scalable to support these growing BPO operations.” |
