Background

1.Semir, as one of the largest clothing brands in Zhejiang Province, has been rated as top 100 companies in China’s fashion industry in terms of sales and profits and top 500 private companies in China for many consecutive years.

2.Semir was founded on December 18, 1996, and its subsidiary Semir Garment was listed on China's A-share Market on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange on March 11, 2011

3.Now, the Group has six centers including marketing planning, production design, human resources, financial management, administrative management and marketing management, four wholly-owned companies and ten branches, and two well-known clothing brands - casual wear brand "Semir" and children's wear brand “balabala”.


Business challenges:

1. Semir has more than 4,000 employees in more than 20 cities in China. Such broad distribution leads to complex salary and attendance management rules.

2. Semir has 30+ incorporated companies across 9 retail brands, causing difficulty in unified management.

3. Semir has more than 10 sets of complex salary rule systems, therefore it is hard to form a unified one.

4. How to reduce employment costs and risks, improve labor and operational efficiency, thus in return facilitating business development?


Solution

1. CDP dispatched a special team to formulate processes and specifications professionally and rigorously according to the professional opinions from Semir’s audit, legal affairs and finance departments.

2. We contributed to risk control in seamless digital transformation among Semir’s 9 core subsidiaries and sales channels in 20 cities.

3. We held more than 120 communication meetings to promote Semir stores nationwide based on Beijing, Shenzhen and Shanghai stores, and completed assignment of labor contracts for all employees in its direct-sales stores

4. We helped Semir integrate and unify multiple sets of complex salary rules.

5. We set up a system portal, realized online contract signing, and shortened the monthly payroll cycle from 3 days to 1 day, and keep optimizing.
