On the morning of September 22, the special session on "Key Technologies of Embodied Intelligence and Innovative Applications in Vertical Scenarios," organized by the Jimei Innovation and Entrepreneurship Deep Integration Community, was successfully held. The event was jointly hosted by Xiamen Jianlin Smart Home Co., Ltd., Jimei District Human Resources Development Center, Jimei District High-end Equipment Center, Jimei District Artificial Intelligence Center, CDP Group, and the project team of the Jimei Innovation and Entrepreneurship Deep Integration Community. • Exchange of IdeasThree guests from universities and enterprises took the stage during the event. Dr. Li Xiaowen, CTO of Westlake Interactive Robotics Technology (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd.; Chen Ning, Deputy Dean of the School of Marine Equipment and Mechanical Engineering at Jimei University; and Fan Gang, General Manager of Xiamen Apis Intelligent Robotics Co., Ltd., shared their insights from different perspectives, ranging from scenario definition and technological breakthroughs to production-line implementation, jointly illustrating how the robotics industry is accelerating its integration into the real economy.

• University-Industry Collaboration:The event also featured a signing and unveiling ceremony for university-industry cooperation. Apis and the Human Resources Department of Jianlin Group signed cooperation agreements with the School of Marine Equipment and Mechanical Engineering and the School of Marine Information at Jimei University. Two community branches, Intelligent Equipment and Systems and Intelligent Terminal Engineering, were officially unveiled. The event also invited representatives of the 2025 freshmen from universities in Jimei District to visit enterprises, launching their exploration of industrial practice through their "first lesson in professional orientation."

• Unlocking New Growth Momentum:According to Li Xiuwan, Deputy Director of the Innovation Office of Jimei District, after nearly two years of regular operation and empowerment, the community has supported universities in adding 27 academic disciplines and majors aligned with industry needs, established 177 internship and practical training bases, engaged 1,040 corporate professionals as "industry mentors," facilitated the signing and implementation of 484 high-quality industry-academia-research projects, and is expected to achieve a local retention rate of more than 17% among 2026 graduates.
